Terms of service

Last updated 30 September 2026

These terms set out the agreement between you and Sekit Technologies, S.L. when you use sekit.ai, the free EU AI Act check at /ai-act-check, or the Sekit Platform. Plain language, no fine print. By using the site, you accept these terms.

Plain-language version

This is a simplified set of terms, drafted from GDPR-aware templates and tailored to how Sekit actually works. If you need a contractually negotiated version, write to hello@sekit.ai.

Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Sekit Technologies, Sociedad Limitada ("Sekit", "we", "us"), a company registered in Spain at C/ Cronista Carreres 10, Bajo, 46003 Valencia, España.

What we offer

EU AI Act check: a free questionnaire, available at /ai-act-check. You receive an indicative report on how the Act affects you, based on your answers.

Sekit Platform: a workbench in beta for cybersecurity consultants, offered as a subscription. Any consultant can create an account.

The Sekit Platform

Your consultancy and its clients upload those clients' data to the platform: assessments, risks, evidence, documents and messages. By using it, the consultancy confirms it has those clients' permission. Sekit processes that data only on the consultancy's behalf and on its instructions, as a processor (GDPR, Article 28); the consultancy remains the controller towards its clients.

A consultancy's clients reach the portal because their consultancy invites them. Their relationship is with the consultancy, and they use the portal under the acceptable-use rules in these terms.

The platform is in beta: we add, change and remove features often. We tell you about important changes, but we do not guarantee that a given feature stays available.

The platform's assistant and agents are AI systems. The assessments, analyses, reports and requests they prepare are drafts, and the consultancy is responsible for reviewing them before using them or sending them to its clients. Some features may reply automatically to clients' messages in the portal; the consultancy remains responsible for the relationship with its clients.

If you connect a third-party AI assistant to Sekit (for example, through MCP), the data that assistant reads or sends also goes through its provider. Choosing and configuring that assistant is your consultancy's decision and responsibility.

Your account and your data

Some features require an email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping access to your inbox.

You own the data you submit. We treat it as confidential and only share it with the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, with the people your consultancy gives access to (including its invited clients and the AI assistants it connects), or when the law requires it. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Sekit only for lawful purposes and not to: attempt to break or probe the security of the site beyond a normal use; scrape or copy our content at scale; use Sekit to test or evaluate businesses you don't have permission to assess; impersonate someone else; or interfere with how others use the site.

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend service if these terms are violated.

AI and automated outputs

The Sekit Platform uses AI to draft assessments, analyses, and reports, which are shown to you for review before you use them; automatic replies in the portal reach the client without that review. The EU AI Act check result is indicative. AI outputs may contain errors. Decisions you make based on Sekit outputs are your own; we encourage you to validate them with a qualified professional, especially for compliance, legal, or financial decisions.

Pricing and payment

The EU AI Act check is free. The Sekit Platform is offered as a subscription. The price, billing period, what each plan includes and any trial period are shown at /pricing and when you subscribe; the conditions you accept when you subscribe are the ones that apply to your subscription.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. If we change the price, we tell you in advance and the change applies from the next renewal. If you subscribed at a promotional or founding price, you keep it under the conditions stated when you subscribed.

Some plans include limited use of the AI features. If it runs out, those features may pause until the next renewal; the rest of the platform keeps working and there are no extra charges for usage without your consent.

Payments are handled by our payment provider; Sekit does not store your card details. Every charge comes with an invoice, including any taxes that apply, such as VAT, based on your country and tax status.

Refunds and cancellations

You can cancel the subscription at any time from the platform, with no minimum term or penalty. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Unless the law says otherwise, periods already started are not refunded.

Intellectual property

We own the Sekit name, logo, site, and the software behind it. The methodology, scoring model, and report templates are also ours.

You own the data and content you put into Sekit, and the reports we generate from your data are yours to keep, send, and use.

Disclaimers

Sekit is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep the service running and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit a specific outcome you have in mind. Sekit does not replace a qualified cybersecurity professional, a lawyer, or an auditor.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Spanish and EU law, Sekit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses that result from your decisions based on our outputs. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

Termination

You can stop using Sekit at any time. When your consultancy's subscription ends, we keep its content for up to 90 days so it can export it or reactivate the account, and then we delete it. If you ask us to, we delete it sooner. We only keep what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice when reasonable.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If a dispute arises, we will try to solve it informally first. If that fails, the courts of Valencia, Spain have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When we do, we update the date at the top and, if the change is important, we email you about it. If you keep using Sekit after the change, you accept the new version.
